I’m writing to tell you something I’ve learned that I can only relate to a universal incentive,
you get what you give, or in other words, what goes around comes around, or in other words,
karma. The good news, it’s semi-entirely within your control.
I once read a book that is really not worth encouraging others to read but from it I took away a few pointers that I must say, with consistent practice, I have seen significant, positive results, and they are as follows:
Release the ego, make your word truthful, forgo any assumptions or absolutes, and with every moment you experience, put forth your best effort.
I find the fourth most helpful, remembering that every moment is a chance for me to do my best and progress in my being, a never-ending journey which, sure, is daunting, but more so very enriching. The more you give the more you get.
One of the greatest joys of getting older is feeling the gratification of things I’ve worked really hard and long at, at least in the short time I’ve had, and feeling like my life is a result of actions I have taken to make my life what I want it to be. I’ve long had ideas of how I want to be spending these years now, so I’m following the signs to make that happen for myself. I’m telling you, it’s possible to be living the life you want to be living and to be happy. It’s not easy, sacrifices have been made and you have to work hard and you have to practice, whatever it is that is for you, intuitively. Things take time, sometimes a long time.
Accept help and love and friendship, from all avenues, different kinds, don’t assume anything, because the universe is endless and the in between is full of infinite possibilities. Life is meant to be good and wonderful.
